Wassef Karimeh

Wassef

I joined the CMS collaboration three years ago as a Ph.D. student from the Saint Joseph University of Beyrouth, Lebanon.

As a software engineer, I worked on the operations, development, and upgrade of the CMS Tracker detector control system.

I’m excited to share my own experience and knowledge with you!

Dragoslav Lazic

I am CMS member from the days of Letter Of Intent, i.e. even before the collaboration was formed in 1992.  During the years I worked on various aspects of Hadron Calorimeter and Technical Coordination.  My current responsibilities include Test Beam Coordination and ensuring liaison between CMS and LHC.  Fun fact: the first time I entered CMS cavern(s) was in 2002, when the walls and floor were not yet covered with concrete and the buildings above the shafts were not finished - the rain made the place very, very muddy.  Since then I went through every square centimetre of the experiment.  Many times...
