Abstract:
System-on-Chips (SoCs) have become very popular recently in many electronics designs. This seminar will explain what a SoC is, and how it can be used to bring intelligence directly to an electronics board. It will show the wide range of potential applications of a SoC, what problems with the use of SoCs exist, and what common solutions to overcome them. In this seminar I will give a summary of the SoC Workshop held in June 7-11, 2021 at CERN.
