APEL

Migration to the new version of APEL server (with benchmark tag functionality) is planned for the week of 10th of February. Adrian will coordinate migration with Joseph. EGI portal is also ready to go the same week, but they wanted to migrate after APEL migration.

Tom raised a concern regarding the fact of mentioning that 50% of people are not satisfied with APEL support.  This number has been mentioned during WLCG OPS Coordination meeting last week. Julia told that she would check the number and provide to Tom and Adrian access to the survey. She did after the meeting and confirmed that 50% was not correct and that she would aplogise at the next WLCG Ops Coordination meeting. On the other hand, she mentioned that WLCG OPS Coordination still get complains about the slowness of addressing APEL tickets and Tom said that APEL team is working to improve the situation. It was decided to schedule APEL presentation at the next WLCG OPS coordination meeting on the 6th of March.

Report from Josep by mail:

- We started working in the monitoring system for the ssm and dbloader to avoid repeating the problems we had last times.

 

- We kept preparing the staging test for making the deployment to production.

 

- We plan to make the deployment on 11 of feb. For that date we expect to have other aspects fixed an ready to deploy.

 

AUDITOR testing and reporting to the testing infrastructure

Maria reported by mail that things look correct on the Auditor side for configuration and generated APEL messages. THough she is getting errors from the APEL side and waiting for Adrian to have a look and advice what could be wrong. 

Adrian told taht he would get in touh with Maria to investigate the problem
