Call for Abstracts

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline

This workshop aims to bring together the community of scientists and engineers who are interested in modelling of detector effects for astronomy. The workshop is being organised by the Pyxel detector simulation framework developers and will consist of both tutorial sections on pyxel and contributed talks from the community covering a range of topics related to detector modelling. Attendance is open to all.

We encourage submissions on the following topics:

  • Instrument simulators that include detector simulations.
  • Detector-specific simulations.
  • Measurements, Models, and/or Simulations of individual detector effects.
  • Impact of detector effects on science instruments.
  • Use of detector simulations in instrument design and systems engineering.
  • Anything else related to modelling detector functionality or performance.

Please note that to submit an abstract, you will first be required to create a CERN lightweight account if you do not already have one by following the account creation instructions. This will allow you to come back and edit the abstract later. If you encounter problems, please contact the organisers.

The call for abstracts is closed.
