BARI

The CMS Virtual Visit is one of the activities and initiatives held during the European Researcher Night at Bari University in collaboration with the local INFN section. It is part of the European Commission funded "ERN-Apulia3” project (https://www.nottedeiricercatori.it/ern-apulia/) which involves all the Apulian state universities together with the major public research institutions (INFN, CNR, ENEA, IIT) and MArTA Museum of Taranto. 

The audience will be mostly composed of high school students but the event will be open to any interested visitor. Due to the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, all the events will be virtual. The CMS Virtual Visit broadcast will be part of the events organized by INFN-BA.
 

CAGLIARI

The CMS Virtual Visit @CAGLIARI is part of the series of events and 
activities planned for the European Night of the Researcher thanks to 
the SHARPER project (http://www.sharper-night.it).

The SHARPER project is funded by the European Commission by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions GA 101036106 for the European Researchers Night projects and coordinated by the scientific communication company Psiquadro in collaboration with the national institute for nuclear physics INFN, the science center Immaginario Scientifico and the MUSE of Trento, the association Observa Science in Society, and six Italian universities: the Polytechnic of Turin and the Polytechnic of Marche, the University of Cagliari, Catania, Palermo and Perugia. The associated partners are the University of Camerino, Genova, Macerata and Sassari.
Due to the spread of Covid pandemic, the events will be both virtual and 
frontal.
The CMS Virtual Visit broadcast will be part of the events organized by 
INFN Cagliari and the Department of Physics of Cagliari University and 
it will be advertised in https://wpress.ca.infn.it/

 

PADOVA

The CMS Virtual Visit is one of the activities and initiatives held during the European Researcher Night at the Padova University in collaboration with the local INFN section. It is part of the Veneto Night project (http://www.venetonight.it/), which involves the Padova University, the Ca’ Foscari University, the Verona University, as well as the CNR, INAF, INFN and VIMM. 

The event will be open to any interested visitor, in particular the attendees are expected to be mostly high school students in the morning session. The CMS Virtual Visit broadcast will be part of the events organized by the Department of Physics and Astronomy “G. Galilei” and the INFN-PD, and it will advertised through the Veneto Night web site (http://www.venetonight.it/) and the facebook official https://www.facebook.com/Venetonight.

 

PERUGIA

The CMS Virtual Visit is part of the series of events and activities planned for the European Night of the Researcher within the SHARPER project (http://www.sharper-night.it).

The SHARPER project is funded by the European Commission, and coordinated by the scientific communication company Psiquadro in collaboration with the national institute for nuclear physics (INFN), the science center Immaginario Scientifico, the association Observa Science in Society, and six italian universities: the Polytechnic of Marche, the Universities of Cagliari, Catania, Palermo, Perugia and Torino.

Due to the spread of Covid pandemic, the events will be virtual.

The CMS Virtual Visit broadcast will be part of the events organized by INFN Perugia and the Department of Physics of Perugia University and it will be advertised in https://www.sharper-night.it/sharper-perugia/ and on the facebook pagehttps://www.facebook.com/INFNPerugia

 

PISA 

On occasion of the Researchers Night (September 24th) the event BRIGHT “Brilliant Researchers Impact on Growth Health and Trust in research” will take place in Tuscany, in order to disseminate the knowledge of the positive aspects of the research activity and spread a message of trust to the great  audience.

In Pisa several events will be organized by the Universities and Research Institutes promoters of the initiative: University of Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, CNR, INGV and INFN.

Due to the spread of Covid pandemic, most of events will be virtual, with some events in the presence of the public.

The CMS Virtual Visit broadcast will be part of the events organized by INFN-Pisa and advertised through the web site https://www.bright-night.it.

 

ROMA

The CMS Virtual Visit is one of the activities held during the European Researcher Night at Sapienza University in Rome, in collaboration with the Italian National Institute of Physics (INFN). The full list of events organized is advertised here:https://web.uniroma1.it/fac_smfn/nottericerca2021.

The event is open to mostly undergraduate and graduate students in the morning session. The CMS Virtual Visit broadcast will be part of the events organized by the Department of Physics (https://www.phys.uniroma1.it/fisica/).

 

TRIESTE 

 

The CMS Virtual Visit @TRIESTE is also part of the series of events and activities planned for the European Night of the Researcher within the SHARPER project (http://www.sharper-night.it).
