Description
Precise luminosity measurements are essential for the success of scientific programs at the LHeC and FCC-eh and the best candidate to achieve that goal is the bremsstrahlung process. Significant challenges associated with the use of this process are discussed in this paper as well as necessary instrumentation to achieve the required precision. Procedures of luminosity determination are also investigated, including uses of other processes at these colliders. Further developments are proposed in this context and the ultimate precision of luminosity measurements is evaluated.
