The Travelcheck allows you to check whether and under what conditions you can enter Switzerland. We encourage you to do it via (https://travelcheck.admin.ch/home) and to apply for a Swiss Covid Certificate when applicable

Access to the CERN site varies according to the COVID-19 risk level (i.e. Green, Yellow, Orange, Red).
The current COVID-19 risk level and the corresponding applicable measures are given on the HSE website here.
Independently of the applicable COVID-19 risk level 2 (yellow), 3 (orange) and 4 (red), the following categories of persons are prohibited from accessing CERN sites:
- Suspected COVID-19 cases;
- Confirmed COVID-19 cases;
- Close contacts; and
- Persons arriving or returning from a country/ area for which Switzerland and/or France impose a mandatory quarantine upon arrival or return (travel quarantine). These persons shall not come on to the CERN site for the duration of the quarantine imposed by France or Switzerland whichever is the longest.
Suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases and persons subject to medical quarantine shall declare their condition via the TRAMED tool and inform their supervisor.
Persons subject to travel quarantine must self-declare via the helpdesk + 41 22 767 7777 and inform their supervisor.
