Accommodation:   Please make your own reservation at the CERN hostel via the online interface. Online reservations can only be made for persons already registered in the CERN database. If you can not make a reservation through this interface you may still reserve a room by contacting the CERN Housing Service directly cern.hostel@cern.ch or by phone: 0041 22 767 4481, fax: 0041 22 767 3800, and at the reception ground floor of building 39. The CERN hostel is always very busy, we advise you to make your reservation before the end of October.

Room keys: The Hostel Reception (Building 39) is open as follows:

Mondays to Fridays from 7.30 am to 1.00 am.
Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from 9.00 am to 1.00 am.

Important: outside these times, room keys can be obtained from the security guard on duty at the entrance to CERN's Meyrin site - Gate B (building 120).

All persons entering the CERN site must be in possession of a card issued by CERN certifying that they are authorised to do so. Access cards are issued by the Registration service and Access Control Service in Building 55 or Building 33.

Invitation letter: Should you need an invitation letter to CERN, please contact Mrs Cécile Noels - Project Support Office - cecile.noels@cern.ch.

Registration:   If you have a valid CERN access card, please remember to bring it, otherwise please send a request by email to Mrs Cécile Noels - Project Support Office - cecile.noels@cern.ch. Please specify your dates of arrival and departure.

Laptop registration:  Please note that, if you wish to use a portable computer at CERN with an Ethernet or wireless connection, it is mandatory to register at http://it-div.web.cern.ch/it-div/news/computer-registration.asp
