1st International Hands on Particle Physics Masterclasses in Pakistan (2022) For College Students  - Habib University 

 

Physics at the most fundamental level - the smallest and most basic building blocks of matter - is an exotic world.  International Particle Physics Outreach Group (IPPOG) organizes special Hands-on Particle Physics Masterclasses for girls on the occasion of International Day of Women and Girls in science. These masterclasses provide students an opportunity to discover the world of quarks and leptons for themselves by performing measurements on real data from CERN and to meet active particle physics researchers/scientists. As one day online event we have planned for two main sessions. The first session will be dedicated to learning/knowing the world of particle Physics and the second session will be a hands-on session of Masterclass.
