Presentation material will appear on https://solidproject.org/events.
Agenda of this event:
Monthly updates — Oz Olivo
Announcement of the new "Data utility initiative" in Flanders - uses ESS.
Guest presentations
- Jasmine Leonard, Independent Solid Developer
Jasmine present PodPro (https://podpro.dev), a new tool for developers working with Solid Pods. Nice UI, possible competitor to SolidOS or Penny. Maria D. suggested to implement a friendly ACL management interface. For now the tool is meant for developers.
Try the tool via https://podpro.dev. Its purpose is to:
- connect to >1 pods at the same time
- read the request and response headers, to know what information is sent and returned from the pod.
- Sebastien Rosset, Independent Solid Developer
Sebastien presents ActivityPods, a new kind of architecture for web applications which aims to reconcile the ActivityPub and Solid standards.
When data changes in the pod some bots are activated. https://welcometomplace.org For events' creation. By default they are all private.
