COVID
After the Easter break, we have seen an increase in the number of people at CERN testing positive for Covid. We would therefore like to request everyone to please wear masks during the sessions as a precaution (but not during lunch or coffee breaks). And of course, please do not come to the meeting rooms if you have symptoms.
How can I see the talks?
The talks are uploaded on t2k.org, not here.
I'm joining remotely, which Zoom room should I connect to?
You can see a list of Zoom rooms in the "Videoconference" tab, however it's easier to see how rooms are associated with sessions if you change the indico theme to "indco style" (then you see an agenda with a Zoom room next to each session).
Registration desk at CERN
The fees for the meeting, the tour and the party should be paid (in cash only) at the registration desk which will be periodically placed outside the meeting rooms in building 40. The exact location, time and details for the means of payment are available in the bulletin which was sent out before the meeting. Cash can be withdrawn from ATMs next to the UBS bank just outside R1.
Meeting fee
There will be a meeting fee of 25 CHF.
Collaboration meeting party
The collaboration meeting party will take place at CERN in restaurant 1 (at the end closest to building 40) on Thursday 12th May at 18:30. It will be a food+drink buffet and will cost 45 CHF per person. You must have registered to be able to attend.
Neutrino platform tours
We have organised tours of CERN's Neutrino Platform during the meeting on the afternoon of Wednesday 11th May. There will be an associated fee of 7 CHF per person. The fee has been taken on charge by the CERN EP-nu group so there is no cost for the tour.
Extra meeting rooms at CERN
We have a number of extra small rooms available at CERN for the duration of the Collaboration Meeting which you can use at your convenience. To managing these rooms easier, we provide a Google Sheets document which you are free to edit at your discretion if you would like to informally "book" one of these rooms.
Please be courteous when using this document and try to respect meetings which are marked as private. You can also use the R1 or Building 40 cafeteria all day long for small meetings.
Be aware that all of the meeting rooms require a validated CERN access card to be opened. Many collaboration members now have an access card, so this should not be difficult to find. If you have difficulties finding such a person, contact the LOC.
Finally, if you would like to use the room videoconferencing system, please let the LOC know so that we can set up a room for you. Please note that this only applies to the videoconferencing system associated to the room. You can still have meetings from your laptop without taking any particular action.
