31st edition of the Indian-Summer School, which is a series of summer courses on various topics of physics held annually in the Czech Republic since 1988. The dates are traditionally in September, in a period of so-called Indian-Summer with unseasonably warm, dry weather that usually occurs in the Northern hemisphere.

ISS2022: Workshop of heavy-ion physics for young researchers is devoted to selected topics of the physics of heavy-ion collisions, e.g. QCD phase diagram, theoretical models, jets, soft physics, hard probes, detectors in particle physics. The school will consist of invited lectures given by distinguished physicists, as well as sessions devoted to student presentations in the form of posters.
Workshop is intended for graduate and advanced undergraduate students, postdocs, and researchers in the field.
This year is hosted by the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague and co-organised by the Nuclear Physics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
This workshop is supported by the project Centre of Advanced Applied Sciences (CAAS) with the number CZ.02.1.01/0.0/0.0/16-019/0000778. CAAS is co-financed by European Union.
