How to measure M_W: A theory perspective

In this talk, I will discuss the role of the code ResBos (at NNLL+NLO) used in the CDF measurement of W boson mass. I will also discuss the impact of using the ReBos2 code (at NNNLL+NNLO) on the determination of W boson mass. The procedure to extract the shift in W mass follows the "data-driven" approach adopted by the CDF. I will also highlight other theoretical questions that need to be investigated as possible explanations of the disagreement between the CDF and ATLAS measurement.
