Code of conduct

We follow the CERN code of conduct.  This means that we abstain from and actively discourage all forms of harassment as well as verbal, non-verbal, written or physical abuse.  So, for example, sexual language and imagery, sexist, racist, or otherwise exclusionary jokes are not appropriate, neither during the workshop sessions or at social events.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, culture, physical ability, ethnicity, appearance, nationality, age, education or religious background.  Our goal is to keep ours a positive and inclusive community.  Throughout the week, we welcome questions, which should be asked and answered respectfully.  We want all participants to be able to express their opinions freely.

We ask that all workshop participants follow these principles and have an enjoyable and productive workshop!

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to any member of the organising committee (either individually or collectively) if you are affected by any of these issues or have any concerns.  All exchanges will be treated in confidence.
