CMS Guides:

Congqiao Li

Congqiao Li is a doctoral student at Peking University and a member of CMS Collaboration. He works on high-energy physics experimental analyses to measure the Higgs boson Yukawa coupling with charm quarks. He contributed to the collaboration in offline computing of event generators, calibration of heavy flavour jet tagging algorithms, and promoting the use of new advances in deep learning.

Sijin Qian

Professor in the School of Physics, Peking Univ. Ph.D. in physics from Illinois Institute of Technology in 1985. He has joined in the CMS Collaboration since 1994, working on the software, RPC muon system, physics analysis, the Muon Publication & Conference Board and the TOP/BPH Editorial Board of Publication Committee in various periods. He has been serving as a CERN and CMS guide since 2004, enjoys to explain the CMS, LHC, CERN and particle physics, etc. to general public. He has translated a popular science book "Who cares about particle physics? Making sense of the Higgs boson, the Large Hadron Collider and CERN"(authored by Pauline Gagnon)"  into Chinese which was published in 2020.
