Code of conduct

The QTFP School should be a safe, welcoming and inclusive experience for all participants, whether online or in-person, and student, tutor, lecturer or organiser. The school is an opportunity to learn, discuss, and build a professional network with other QTFP researchers. We aim to build a community based on mutual respect for each other as researchers and individuals.

Lecturers and tutors have a responsibility to maintain a professional and friendly environment in their classes. All participants should be respectful and considerate of others at all times. If you are a witness to any incident, please intervene if you feel safe doing so, and report this to a lecturer, tutor or the organising committee (contact below).

We have zero tolerance of bullying, harassment or discrimination, and anyone found to engage in such behaviour will be asked to leave the meeting. This includes but is not limited to any form of sexual harassment, intimidation, threatening behaviour, sustained disruption, use of offensive or demeaning language including inappropriate jokes, unwanted photography, screenshots or recording, making statements based on individual characteristics such as age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, nationality, political affiliation, ability status, educational background or any other characteristic protected by law.

If you have any concerns during the school, please raise these with a lecturer or tutor, or email the organising committee chair Tiffany Harte th558(at)cam.ac.uk. Any issues raised will be handled in confidence within the organising committee.
