Course information

There will be two lectures and one tutorial for each of the seven original QTFP projects, to give participants a thorough overview of research in the QTFP programme.

These projects are:

  • QI (Quantum-enhanced interferometry for new physics)
  • QSNET (A network of clocks for measuring the stability of fundamental constants)
  • QTNM (Determination of absolute neutrino mass using quantum technologies)
  • QSHS (Quantum sensors for the hidden sector)
  • AION (A UK atom interferometer observatory and network)
  • QUEST DMC (Quantum enhanced superfluid technologies for dark matter and cosmology)
  • QSimFP (Quantum simulators for fundamental physics)

Lecturers will include:

  • Dr Samuli Autti (Lancaster University, QUEST-DMC)
  • Dr Ian Bailey (Lancaster University, QSHS)
  • Professor Ed Daw (University of Sheffield, QSHS)
  • Dr Rachel Godun (National Physical Laboratory, QSNET)
