Prof Phil Allport has recently retired (at least from formal duties). The Birmingham Particle Physics Group invites you to a half-day symposium ('Allport-fest') to celebrate Phil's career achievements, as a
lso recently recognised through the award of the 2022 IoP Chadwick medal and prize.
The event will begin with a complimentary lunch, followed by a series of talks and reflections in the Birmingham School of Physics. There will be a drinks reception and dinner in the evening at the nearby Edgbaston Park Hotel (£60 per person). Please see the 'Timetable' link for full programme details.
