At 1 km2, Atrani is the smallest Comune of Italy. It is located on the Amalfi Coast, 1 km from Amalfi, 25 km from Salerno, 60 km from Napoli.

By Air & Train to Salerno:

Napoli airport is 55 km from Atrani. From the airport, take Alibus to Napoli Centrale Railway Station. The Napoli Centrale - Salerno train ride takes about 45 minutes. Timetables and tickets on www.trenitalia.com . Then follow the directions below.

Roma Fiumicino and Ciampino airports are about 300 km from Atrani. From Fiumicino airport, take the train to Roma Termini Railway Station. From Ciampino airport there are buses and train to Roma Termini Railway Station (please see the Ciampino transport link). 

The Roma Termini - Salerno train ride takes about 120 - 150 minutes, depending on the train you choose. Timetables and tickets on www.trenitalia.com Then follow the directions below.

Travel by car from either Napoli or Roma airports directly to Atrani in not recommended. At Atrani a car is not useful, and garage parking is expensive (more than 30 € per night).

Salerno to Atrani:

Atrani can be reached from Salerno Railway Station (25 km from Atrani) by ferry or by bus. Both routes are interesting, with different perspectives. The ferry route is scenic. The bus route offers a glimpse through the Coast villages.

In front of Salerno Railway Station main entrance, stop SITA buses bound to Amalfi. The second to last stop is at Atrani. Tickets can be bought at the News Stand by the Railway Station main entrance. The ride takes about 1 hour.

Alternatively, from the Salerno Concordia Harbour, at Piazza della Concordia, 500 m from the Railway Station, leave ferries bound to Amalfi. Tickets can be bought at the ticket office by the ferry pier. The ride takes about 40 minutes. From Amalfi it’s a 10-15 minutes walk to Atrani.
