Public transport information:
The two closest stops of the public transport are Botanická záhrada (bus and tram) and Zoologická záhrada (bus). Please note, that for all buses all stops are request stops. Tram stops for regular stops or upon request for request stops.
In order to get to the Faculty from the main train station (Hlavná stanica), take bus number 32 and go to stop ZOO (Zoologická záhrada) or botanical garden (Botanická záhrada). Alternatively, take bus 93 from the train station and then take bus 31 or 39 at Zochova and go to ZOO (Zoologická záhrada).
In order to get to FMFI from Hotel IBIS, go to stop "Kapucínska" (located around 150 m from the hotel) , take tram number 9 and go to "Botanická záhrada" (6 minutes).
In order to get to FMFI from Hotel Akademik, go to "Blumentál" stop and take tram number 9 and go to "Botanická záhrada" (12 minutes).

Tickets can be bought in the yellow vending machines at larger stations or at most newspaper shops. Tickets must be validated inside the bus/tram in one of the yellow validators. All tickets are transfer tickets, i.e., you are allowed to change among different kinds of transportation as many time as you need until the ticket expires.
