Description
The Square Kilometer Array (KM2A) of the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO) can precisely measure the air shower sizes of electromagnetic and muonic components induced by cosmic rays. In this study, we propose a method for reconstructing the energy of primary cosmic rays at zenith angles larger than 50° using a neural network, based on a set of reconstructed parameters of KM2A events. We find that using this method, at the zenith angle range of 50°to 60°, the energy reconstruction resolution is around 15% at 10PeV, and the all particle spectrum obtained by this method at 50°to 60°is in good agreement with the spectrum obtained using the Neµ method at the 10°to 30°, within the 1 PeV - 30 PeV.This shows the potential of this method for larger zenith angles and larger energy range.
