- Magnetic design almost ready, providing peak field of 2.3 T at 19mm gap, with 30% more PM material
- Clarification that the magnet length is being defined by the integral of the field along the magnet
- The quadrupole field will vary a few % along the magnet, it seems that this should be not a concern for beam dynamics
- The field quality is very good
- Regarding the CLIC prototype, the samples did not show any difference on magnetic characteristic whcih could explain the difference in amplitude of the low-field part, investigations on-going. ESRF will be contacted for exchanging ideas for identifying the issue.
- Deliverable should be drafted, deadline April 2023.
