The joint doctoral project “Advanced computing, QuanTum algorIthms and data-driVen Approaches for science, Technology and Engineering (AQTIVATE)” will deliver an interdisciplinary training program for fifteen fellows who will learn to utilise high performance computing, develop scalable algorithms and machine learning approaches, and explore quantum computing for research projects from physics, engineering and biology. In this meeting, the AQTIVATE fellows, supervisors and mentors will gather to get to know each other. The fellows will present their research done for their Master thesis, draft their personal career development plans (PCDPs) and plan future steps. The meeting will include discussion sessions regarding diversity, sustainable research management and environmental awareness in the context of the ESRs’ individual personal development and research perspectives.
