Travel Information

Cyprus is served by Larnaca International Airport (LCA), and Paphos International Airport (PFO). More than 50 International Airlines connect Cyprus to Europe and the whole world; for more details regarding flights to/from Cyprus, please visit the official website of both airports, www.hermesairports.com. The workshop will take place in Nicosia, which is approximately 50 km from Larnaca airport and 145 km from Paphos airport.

Important note: The Ercan (ECN) airport operates in the Turkish-occupied area in the northern part of Cyprus and serves illegally flights from/to Turkey. If you plan to use the Ecran airport, please visit the website of the Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs for further details.

Transport to/from Larnaca and Paphos airports is generally easy by bus, taxi or (rental) cars. The cheapest and recommended transport is via bus. From Larnaca Airport, use the Kapnos Airport coaches (35 minutes approximately) to directly reach Nicosia city (Kyrenias Avenue), the cost is less than 10 Euros one way. From Paphos airport, use the Kapnos Airport coaches (105 minutes approximately) to directly reach Nicosia city (Kyrenias Avenue). Buses are generally less frequent from Paphos airport to Nicosia. From Nicosia (Kyrenias Avenue), you can use the Nicosia Public Buses to find a route to your accommodation hotel or get a taxi. Taxis from Larnaca airport to Nicosia cost 50 – 70 Euros one way. From Paphos airport to Nicosia, a taxi is around 150 Euros one way. You can also use the 'Bolt' taxi app or 'RIDE Now' car sharing app.
