Travel to Lund, Sweden

The most convenient international airport is Copenhagen Kastrup (CPH), just across the border in Denmark.  (Note that Lund is 500km from Stockholm, so don't fly there unless you want to add a five-hour train ride to your journey!)

When you arrive in Copenhagen Airport, exit the baggage claim and continue straight, following the signs for Tog/Train.
Past the arrival hall, on your left will be machines saying "Tickets to Sweden", where you can purchase a ticket to Lund Central.  Make sure to purchase a Skånetrafiken ticket, which will be valid on any Öresundståg train (do NOT purchase an SJ ticket, and don't get on an SJ train).

Then follow the sign above your head to Track 1 that says "Malmö, Sverige/Sweden", and take the next Öresundståg train to Lund C.  The ride is four stops and takes approximately 40 minutes.  There is the possibility that your travel documents may be checked when entering Sweden, so have them close at hand.

To get from Lund Station to the Venue (Astronomy Building, Sölvegatan 27, 223 63 Lund):

  • by foot: duration approx. 20 minutes
  • by bus: from Lund C, take bus number 7 with destination Östra Torn via Sparta to stop Fysiologen, duration approx. 6 minutes
