Welcome to Quantpostela: A Festa da Computación Cuántica no IGFAE event page for the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). We're so excited to have you all here. This workshop event is part of the Qiskit Fall Fest 2023 worldwide and is hosted at the Instituto Galego de Fisica de Altas Enerxias (IGFAE), Aula B. The workshop aims to introduce quantum computing to university students and the public.
Our event this year will be an in-person lecture + lab format, starting from 10:00 AM on October 18th (Wednesday) to October 20th (Friday), 2023. Please see the timetable, and make registrations by October 18th, via the "Registration" tab on the left (Seats may be limited).
You are encouraged to attend all sections, but it is not required. A personal laptop with Python and Qiskit installed is needed for the afternoon lab sections. See the workshop guideline for more details.
The Qiskit Fall Fest is a collection of worldwide quantum computing events on college campuses; see all the events in 2022 & 2023. These events vary from technical hackathons to beginner-friendly challenges, all to help grow the local community’s skill set.
