Participants have to make their own arrangements for their accommodation, after receiving the confirmation of acceptation to the school.
Note that sometimes participants receive fraudulent phishing messages offering to book their accommodation for CERN workshops. We do not make such arrangements and participants need to make their own arrangements for their accommodation (directly with the the CERN hostel, or with a nearby hotel nearby).
CERN Hostel reservation
A number of rooms at the CERN Hostel have been blocked for this school. To book one of these rooms, we kindly ask you to fill in this form and send it back to housing.service@cern.ch at least 31 days before your arrival. Please note that those rooms are exclusively for participants (no accompanying persons).
After this deadline or after the number of pre-booked rooms runs out, you can still request a room by sending the form to housing.service@cern.ch directly but the reservation is not guarantee (they will confirm availability or not).

Hotels in the local area
If you prefer to stay off-site in a hotel, the Housing Service has identified some hotels and apartment hotels in close vicinity to CERN. More details on these can be found at the link here.
