TRAVEL INFORMATION
How to reach the city.
By plane: The Valencia airport is about 12 km from the city center. It has direct flights to many European countries. Connecting flights through Madrid, Barcelona or Mallorca airports are just less than one hour flight. From the airport, one can reach the city center by taxi, by bus or by metro.
By train: There are comfortable and fast trains from Madrid and Barcelona. Speed trains (Renfe, Ouigo or Iryo) connect Madrid-Valencia in a trip time of 1 hour and 40 minutes. The train station is located in the city center.
Transport in the city. There is an extensive, low-cost public transport network covering the city including bus, underground, tram and taxi.
