Kalemegdanska Terasa (eng. Kalemegdan Terrace) is a famous restaurant with a 100-year history, located in the heart of Belgrade within the Kalemegdan fortress.
This is the only restaurant situated within the Fortress, famous for its terrace and breathtaking view of the Danube. It has a very pleasing ambiance, excellent cuisine and a wide selection of wines.
In order to get to this delightful restaurant, one can take a 25 minute walk through the very heart of Belgrade. After exiting the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences, a light stroll can be taken through Knez Mihailova Street, Belgrade's lively promenade. The street rests on the remains of the once mighty ancient Singidunum built by the Romans, and today connects Terazije Square with Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan Park.
After reaching the end of the street, one can proceed through the Kalemegdan Park, the largest and most beautiful park in the city, and enjoy stunning views of the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers.
