Brazilian currency is the REAL. Its sign is R$ and its ISO code is BRL. It is subdivided into 100 centavos ("hundreths").

REACHING RIO DE JANEIRO
Tom Jobim International airport (GIG) connects Rio de Janeiro to several domestic and international destinations. It is one of the main airports in Brazil and about 15 km from NNN 2024 venue.

Electricity power in Rio de Janeiro is mainly 110V / 60 Hz AC. Some hotels may provide other standards. Check with your hotel prior to your arrival. Type "N" plug, shown below, is used only in Brazil and South Africa. You may need an adaptor to connect your devices to a Brazilian outlet.
