- using 3D of 4Dphoton design, old magnet from D. Bodart and see if we can fit in and made a conceptual design
- Swan thesis - found some details
- Uncertainty <5% in profile error (IPM, CST)
- Goals and considerations
- 1st design concept with L shape top chamber for HV feedthrough (slide 7), hard to imagine how to attach HV to cathode.
- IPM simulations by Clara, CF250 flange seems good based on the error and size tradeoff
- Likely need to increase gap of magnet opening by at least 20mm
- Few conceptual design sketches drawn up to address on how the chamber layout and how the HV feedthrough will go in.
- Some more ideas came up (30 degree angle feedthrough etc).
- Suggestion on welding the HV feedthrough directly on the flange instead of connecting through a CF40 flange
