If old results are reported, please include a picture of the geometry as a recall.
The thermal analysis should run until steady state. This can require several thousands of seconds of simulations. It could be possible to use the average power (over 5Hz) with a static simulation.
The DeltaT is probably the most interesting information. Then may the time constant can also be interesting. Are the Cp and kth changing very uch with temperature? (from 30 to 200degC). Is a linear simulation enough?
The thermal computation with two length is indeed very interesting.
Presentation from Dominik Moll et Al
Comparison of losses and energy (or inductance as you prefer) computation:
1) with different pulse lengths (2ms Vs 5ms) with transient simulations;
2) with different methods: AC (500Hz and 200Hz) Vs Transient (2ms and 5ms).
Report results in tables will be very appreciated and clear.
