People are the key to successful software. The HSF-India project aims to promote the development of international research software collaborations. This is the fifth in a series of workshops for software and data analysis skills essential for doing research software in physics. Our curriculum builds upon the successful series of workshops.

This event is organized primarily for PhD students and masters students from the surrounding region. However, anyone is welcome to attend. The registration deadline was November 1, 2024. Further registrations can still be made, however applications received before the deadline have priority. We expect to accommodate about 50 students. Feel free to contact us in case of questions.
There is a nominal 1200 INR fee (+18% GST) to participate, which will be collected after registrations have been accepted. This fee covers local expenses during the workshop. A limited number of scholarships are available. Contact the organizers for more information in case support is necesary for you to attend.
A set of pre-workshop lectures covering some of the prerequisite materials for this workshop are planned between November 25 and December 6. These will be mandatory for students not already familiar with the material to ensure that everyone is prepared for the workshop (additional information to be provided after registration). They held over Zoom and expected to be in the IST evening to facilitiate overlap with US-based discussion leads (5-10 hours in total).
In the case that we can not accept all applications, preference will be given to PhD students from the surrounding region who are engaged in programs for high-energy physics, nuclear physics, astroparticle physics and data science pursuits.
