Access Badge
You must wear a visitor's badge to enter the CERN site. Your name badge will be generated on the basis of the information you provide(d) when you register(ed) on this site.
You will receive this badge by automatic email (PDF file) once your registration has been validated by an organizer. Depending on your preference, you can either :
- print the PDF file contained in the automatic e-mail before your arrival at CERN (recommended)
- use the code contained in the email to print the badge at the CERN self-service kiosks on arrival.
To enter the CERN site, you must :

wear your access badge
- show proof of identity
Getting to CERN
For directions to CERN, visit https://visit.cern/fr/getting-here.
Pedestrian and vehicle access to the site is via Gate B (see map below).
Access by car and parking
By entering your license plate number on the registration form, and on presentation of your visitor's access badge, your vehicle will be authorized to enter the site via entrance B in order to park near the hotel.
- If you have already printed out your access badge, please present it to the guard at gate B and enter the site to park near the hotel.
- if you did not print your badge before your arrival:
- Garez-vous près du poste du gardien, entrée B (Bât. 55).
- Use the self-service terminal to print your badge.
Please note: there is a paying visitors' parking lot behind the Globe.

Badge d'accès
Il est obligatoire de porter un badge visiteurs pour entrer sur le site du CERN. Votre badge nominatif sera généré sur la base des informations que vous aurez fourni lors de votre inscription sur ce site.
Vous recevrez ce badge par email automatique (fichier PDF) après la validation de votre inscription par un organisateur. Selon votre préférence, vous pouvez soit :
- imprimer le fichier PDF contenu dans l'email automatique avant votre arrivée au CERN (recommandé)
- utiliser le code contenu dans l'email pour imprimer le badge sur les bornes self-service du CERN à votre arrivée.
Pour rentrer sur le site du CERN, vous devrez :
- porter votre badge d'accès
- présenter une pièce d'identité

L'entrée sur le site, piéton et véhicule, se fait par la Porte B (voir plan ci-dessous).
Accès en voiture et parking
En renseignant votre plaque d'immatriculation dans le formulaire d'inscription et sur présentation de votre badge d'accès visiteurs, votre véhicule sera autorisé à rentrer sur le site par l'entrée B afin de vous garer près de l'hôtel.
- Si vous avez déjà imprimé votre badge d'accès reçu par email (recommandé), présentez-le au gardien présent en porte B et entrez sur le site pour vous garer près de l'hôtel.
- Si vous n'avez pas imprimé votre badge avant votre arrivée :
- Garez-vous près du poste du gardien, entrée B (Bât. 55).
- Utilisez la borne self-service pour imprimer votre badge.
A noter : il existe un parking Visiteurs payant derrière le Globe.
