Day Trips
If you are here for the weekend, we also recommend that you explore the area around Taipei. Here are some suggestions.
- Beitou Hotspring:
Check out the historic sites around the park and the thermal valley.
- Yang-Ming Mountain:
Many nice trails, although the buses on the weekend can get very crowded.
- Jiufen:
You can find many English blogposts by google. The "old street" can get crowded on weekends. But the nearby Gold Museum and the hiking trails should be less crowded.
