Meeting of potential collaboration partners to prepare a Horizon Europe grant application on “Advanced real-time data analysis used for infrastructure resilience”.

Purpose of the meeting is to elaborate upon the existing project concept and workplan, plus to determine the final consortium composition.

09:00 → 10:00 Arrival at CERN / welcome coffee

You will be welcomed at CERN entrance building 55 where you will received your entrance card. At 09.15 hrs, we will jointly walk to building 17 where the meeting will be held.

10:00 → 10:20 Tour-de-table & introduction to the meeting

Each participant will introduce themselves and their organisation and specialism. Time for each participant: 1 minute. This is followed by a brief introduction to the topic and the structure of the day's meeting.

10:20 → 11:30 Call content brainstorming - part 1: concept, positioning/value proposition/novelty, gaps

In this first section, each partner organisation will give a 10-minute presentation, outlining their specific interest in the project, their expertise area in relation to the project concept, and possible roles during the project. A presentation template is available on Indico beforehand. Coffee/tea during this part of the meeting is on self-service basis.
Each presentation is followed by a 5-minute question round. After the presentations, discussions will lead to a refinement of the project scope and identification of gaps.

For those who are interested, there will be the opportunity to visit 1 or more (depending on availability) of CERN's notable scientific experiments and achievements. Details will follow on the day.

13:40 → 14:40 Call content brainstorming - part 2: concept finetuning, activities & outcomes, project structure

In this second section, we will continue to finetune the concept and novelty of the project, and outline necessary activities that will lead to desired outcomes.

14:55 → 16:50 Discussion & alignment session: structure, deliverables/outcomes, roles/responsibilities.

In this section, we identify which partners want to connect to which activities, we create an initial Work Package structure and corresponding tasks and responsibilities to further shape the work packages.

In this section we will discuss next steps in the proposal development process, the responsibilities of the external consultant, and the overall proposal timeline.
