Description
The extraction of unpolarised parton distribution functions (PDFs) from lattice quantum chromodynamics (QCD) is now a mature enterprise. Significant theoretical and computational advances over the last decade have enabled calculations that quantify or estimate all systematic uncertainties. Entering the industrial era of precision lattice calculations will require a clear understanding of systematic uncertainties and the role of uncertainty quantification. I will present a broad overview of uncertainty quantification in lattice QCD calculations relevant to the extraction of unpolarised PDFs, with an emphasis on unresolved issues and future challenges.
