Description

CKM 2025 is the 13th International Workshop on the CKM Unitarity Triangle, to be held September 15 to 19, 2025 in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy.

The CKM series is a well-established international meeting in the field of quark-flavour physics that brings together experimentalists and theorists to a common platform. The program covers neutron, kaon, charm and beauty hadron, top quark physics and lepton flavour violating Higgs.

Registration is now open: https://ckm2025.ca.infn.it/registration/.

The meeting starts at 8AM CEST on September 15 and will end at 2PM CEST on September 19. The timetable will be filled soon.

Weak radiative $B$ decays to NNLO with full charm mass dependence (20'+4') 24m

We present next-to-next-to-leading order predictions for the decay $\bar{B}\to X_s \gamma$. Special emphasis is put on the recently completed ${\cal O}(\alpha_s^2)$ corrections to the interference of the photonic dipole operator $Q_7$ and the current-current operators $Q_1$ and $Q_2$.
We provide updated results for the branching ratio with reduced uncertainties.

B-Bbar mixing: Width difference and CP asymmetry in flavour-specific decays at next-to-next-leading order of QCD and more (20'+4') 24m

        Abstract:
I present new results for the QCD corrections to the leading term in the
1/m_b expansion of the B-B-bar decay matrix element, which is now
completely determined to three-loop order. These results permit a more
precise Standard-Model prediction of the width differences Delta
Gamma_{d,s} and the CP asymmetries in flavour-specific
        (e.g. semi-leptonic) decays, a_{fs}^{d,s}, for the Bd-Bd-bar and
Bs-Bs-bar mixing complexes. The perturbative uncertainty of the
well-measured Delta Gamma_s now matches the experimental error. I
further discuss the benefits of better measurements of Delta Gamma_d and
a_{fs}^d, which will provide novel insight into possible new physics in
        Bd-Bd-bar mixing.
