In the context of the Swift-HEP and ExaTEPP programmes' new working group on Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) and Emerging Technologies, we will hold a first exploratory half-day meeting on October 1st at UCL. This meeting will discuss the scope and aims of the group, with a focus on barriers/needs/opportunities in terms of enabling AI in HEP experiments/theory, and how to best engage with future funding opportunities in this area.
The agenda is in development, but we expect to include contributions/discussion in areas such as:

In-person attendance will be limited, so if we go over-capacity, we will give priority to invited speakers and people who propose concrete contributions to the agenda. Online attendance will also be possible for all those interested in participating in the discussion.
