Dosimetry, the measurement and calculation of absorbed radiation dose, plays a crucial role in maximizing therapeutic efficacy while minimizing damage to healthy tissues. This abstract focuses on the importance of research and development of innovative sensors for dosimetry in radiotherapy, exploring applications in advanced radiotherapy techniques, such as VMAT, Flash and Spatially Fractionated radiotherapy.
