Event Description:

The primary goal of the event is to introduce the NSF HDR ML Challenge which includes three anomaly detection ML challenge.

This introduction aims to encourage participants to work on the ML challenges and submit their final solutions on the respective Codabench pages:

(1) Butterfly Hybrid Detection

(2) Detecting Anomalous Gravitational Wave Signals

(3) iHARP HDR Anomaly Challenge: Detecting East Coast Sea-level Anomalies

Event details:

1. Each session will cover all three challenges and introduce Codabench. You only need to attend one session, but you are welcome to stay for additional sessions to connect with other ML enthusiasts.

2. Bring your own laptop.

3. Note: We do not provide resources for model training. You can use free GPU resources such as Golab or any other GPU resources accessible to you.

4. Prior ML experience is recommended to complete model submissions and participate in the competition. Starter kits are provided for each challenge. Familiarity with Python is required.
