Code of conduct

MCnet is committed to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and respectful environment for all participants. This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees, including students, instructors, and organisers, and governs interactions during lectures, workshops, social events, and online communications.

 

Our Values

  • Respect: Treat everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of their background, expertise, or identity.
  • Inclusivity: Embrace diversity and create a welcoming environment for individuals of all genders, ethnicities, abilities, and perspectives.
  • Collaboration: Engage constructively, share knowledge openly, and support one another in the pursuit of scientific and personal growth.
  • Professionalism: Communicate respectfully, avoid disruptive behavior, and act ethically in all school activities.

 

Unacceptable Behaviors

  • Harassment, discrimination, or offensive remarks.
  • Disruptive, intimidating, or disrespectful conduct.
  • Plagiarism or unethical handling of shared resources or data.
  • Violation of any established rules for use of facilities or tools.

 

Expectations

Participants are expected to:

  • Engage Positively: Ask questions, share insights, and contribute to discussions constructively.
  • Respect Boundaries: Be mindful of personal and professional boundaries during interactions.
  • Report Issues: If you experience or witness any misconduct, please report it to a designated organiser promptly. All concerns will be addressed confidentially and appropriately.
