The workshop will be hosted at Nikhef in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Nikhef is the Dutch National Institute for Subatomic Physics and is located at Amsterdam Science Park.

To Amsterdam
By plane: The nearest international airport is Schiphol (15 minutes by train to Amsterdam Centraal). More information can be found on the website of Schiphol
By train: Amsterdam Centraal is well connected with other European cities by (night)train. Some websites that we recommend to help you plan your travel by train:

In Amsterdam
The public transport system consists of trains, busses, trams, metros and ferries. Google Maps is up to date with departure/arrival times, but another recommended website/app is 9292, with which you can plan your travel and buy tickets using your credit card. You can also tap your contactless debit card in most services to 'check in' and 'check out': OVPay.
When travelling to Nikhef, these are some tips:
- Train station 'Amsterdam Science Park' - 10 min walk to Nikhef
- Bus 40, stop Science Park (Aer) - 5 min walk to Nikhef
- 15-20 min walk to Nikhef: bus 65 and 37, tram 3 and 19
Bike rental: often, the fastest way to travel in Amsterdam is by bike. You can rent a bike at a lot of different places: at your hotel, at dedicated bike rentals like Black Bikes, or at bike shops. When you rent your bike, make sure (you know how) the lock, brakes and lights work!
