In Poland, we use ride-sharing services like Uber and Bolt. You can download their apps for both iOS and Android devices. The prices are quite reasonable, though they may vary depending on weather conditions and other factors.
How to get from the airport to Rektorska 4
Option A:
- At the airport, board bus 188. Travel for about 20 minutes and alight at the "GUS" stop.
- Walk back to the nearest crossroads, cross Armii Ludowej Street (the street along which your bus drove) and continue in the same direction as the bus for about 300 meters on foot.
Option B:
- At the airport, take bus 175. Ride for about 24 minutes and get off at the "Dw. Centralny" stop.
- Walk back to the crossroad and find the "Dw. Centralny 09" tram stop, facing southwards. Board any tram (17, 33, 78).
- Get off at the GUS stop, turn back to the northeastern corner of the crossroad, and walk 300 meters.
Where to buy a ticket:
Caution: The machines inside buses and trams do not accept cash and may not accept foreign credit cards.
- Recommended Option: Use stationary ticket machines located at bus and tram stops. These machines usually accept both cash and cards. To find the nearest ticket machine, visit the relevant website and view the map indicating machine locations. Remember, tickets bought at these machines must be validated upon first entering a vehicle. Insert your ticket into one of the ticket-punchers inside the bus or tram to activate it.
