REGISTRATION
Where and when is the registration taking place?
You can collect your badge as of Wednesday (12:00 CET) at the CERN Community Support Center (CCSC), open from 7.00 am to 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday located in Building 33.

Visa
The ISRP Secretariat can issue an invitation letter to help with your visa application (if needed). Please contact laurence.lubranodiciccone@oecd.org
EVENT VENUE & ACCESS
Where will the welcome coffee take place on Thursday?
We invite you to join us in Restaurant 1 for a welcome coffee.
Where will the dinner take place on Thursday?
We look forward to welcoming you in Restaurant 1, where we will host the dinner at 19:00 with a cocktail at 18:30. You can make your way there on foot as the restaurant is in the same building where the event takes place.
Through which entrance can I enter CERN during the event?
To enter the CERN site, most of the time you will need to use the main entrance (Entrance B). Please remember that the Main Reception building (bld. 33) does not have a direct access into the buildings.
During the times when we will be moving to and from CERN to the rooms, it will be possible to enter/exit via entrance A on foot (not with cars).
When will Entrance A be open for people without a CERN badge?

Can I enter CERN with my car?
You may enter CERN with your car (limited number of spaces). Please make sure you enter your vehicle plate number when you request your access badge in Indico.
If you have already requested access, but forgot to mention your vehicle plates, you can forward the confirmation message with your access code to service-desk@cern.ch sharing your vehicle plates with them.
Please note that you will need to enter and exit via the main entrance (entrance B). During the times when we will be moving to and from CERN to Science Gateway, it will be possible to enter/exit via entrance A on foot (not with cars) but the rest of the time pedestrians can only leave the site through entrance B.
ACCOMMODATION
How can I book a room in the CERN Hotel?
We have negotiated with the CERN housing service so that rooms in the CERN hostel can be made available for participants of the event. Find out more information about the CERN Hotel offer here: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1458816/page/35710-accommodation
VISITS
When/How can I sign up for a visit?
All registered participants will have the opportunity to visit the Science Gateway on these opening hours:
CERN Science Gateway is open from Tuesday to Sunday
- Exhibitions and other activities from 09.00 to 17.00
- Last entry at 16.30
- Reception, Shop and Big Bang Café from 8.30 a.m. to 17.30

Kindly be aware that under normal circumstances, Menu 1 (Main 1 + Dessert 1) will be provided as the default option for everyone.
However, if you have communicated any allergies or dietary preferences, we will have a vegetarian option.
OTHER
What happens if I need medical assistance?
A member of the CERN fire brigade will be present on site.
I registered, but I did not receive a confirmation email. What should I do?

Will the talks be translated from English to French?
Regrettably, we cannot offer translation services for this event. All presentations and discussions will be conducted in English.
Currency in Switzerland
The currency is Swiss Francs (CHF). While some places may accept euros, it's best to have CHF for payments. That said, you’ll be able to use your credit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) almost everywhere.
