Description
The target of this lecture is to provide an overview of ML algorithms and to indicate beam diagnostics tasks where ML based solutions can be efficiently applied to complement or potentially surpass traditional methods. Some fundamental concepts of machine learning algorithms will be introduced, typical challenges and practical considerations will be discussed, followed by demonstration of accelerators application of the introduced ML concepts in the second lecture.
