The next in-person ALICE USA meeting will be held at UT Austin, on May 28-30, 2024. The meeting will include presentations to highlight and facilitate the research work of junior and senior researchers working at the US ALICE institutions. There will also be overview talks of the ALICE status and plans, focusing on the efforts led by US institutions, in addition to invited talks from other heavy-ion experiments.
We will accommodate all requests from ALICE USA students and postdocs who want to give talks on their work. Seniors are also very welcome to provide talk suggestions. In all cases, please send an email to the organizers if you want to give a talk, or if you have other questions.
The first day (May 28th) will be dedicated to junior training. It will involve ALICE analysis tutorials coupled with an overview of other tools career development tips. The next day (May 29th) will start with overview talks covering ALICE-USA priorities, discussing physics analysis topics, and detector/software work. The second part of that day will be dedicated to junior talks, with a dinner in the evening. The final day (May 30) will include topical talks from ALICE-USA and invited contributions from outside.
