Getting Here
From the airport:
- Taxi/Lyft/Uber all work well, but are costly
- Light rail is very cheap, but involves a 5 minute walk at each end. Depending where your hotel is, if you are near campus, you'll get off at the University of Washington station or the 45th street station.
Food
This is a very informal event...
- Nothing is catered
- We will bring some small snacks
- We are close to coffee shops, etc., and can take short break/walks there as needed.
Lodging
Use Booking.com to find a hotel near by. There are plenty of AirBnB's and hotels around. The physics department has a small discount for some of the closest (but not cheapest) hotels. Will update early the week of 2/17 with information below.
