Code of Conduct

LHCP2026 is dedicated to providing an environment free from discrimination, bullying, or harassment, where all attendees are treated with respect and dignity. We aim to create a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusivity, where all are valued for their contributions and individuality.

The policy of the LHCP2026 conference is that all participants should enjoy a comfortable experience, and that they will treat each other with respect at all times and behave professionally.

All participants are required to comply with the CERN code of conduct.

In case of unacceptable behavior, including personal harassment, the conference organizers may, after due consideration, take the action they deem appropriate, including a warning or expulsion from the conference. If you feel that you have suffered from or witnessed harassment while attending this conference please contact Kai-Feng Chen (kfjack@phys.ntu.edu.tw) and Cheng-Wei Chiang (chengwei@phys.ntu.edu.tw), and they will provide the necessary help.

Free Circulation of Scientists

LHCP2026 implements the IUPAP Policy on Free Circulation of Scientists. Its policy on this matter which is consistent with the corresponding declaration of the International Council of Science, and was adopted at the 26th General Assembly in 2008 and endorsed by the 27th General Assembly in 2011, states that:

The principle of the Universality of Science is fundamental to scientific progress. This principle embodies freedom of movement, association, expression and communication for scientists, as well as equitable access to data, information and research materials.

We oppose any discrimination on the basis of such factors as ethnic origin, religion, citizenship, language, political stance, gender, or age.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please contact Giovanni Marchiori (giovanni.marchiori@cern.ch) and Julie Malcles (Julie.Malcles@cern.ch).
