GIREP-EPEC 2027 Conference, Glasgow, Scotland

Collaborations across time and space in Physics Education

The GIREP-EPEC 2027 Conference will be held in Glasgow, Scotland. It is organized by the International Research Group on Physics Teaching (GIREP: Groupe International de Recherche sur l’Enseignement de la Physique), the European Physical Society Physics Education Division (EPS), and the Scottish Universities Physics Alliance (SUPA). The local organising committee consists of staff from three universities (Edinburgh, Glasgow and Strathclyde) and IOP Scotland.

The live programme is planned from Sunday afternoon until Thursday afternoon and will consist of plenary talks, parallel oral sessions, symposia, panel discussions, workshops, and poster sessions. In addition, social events will allow you to both network and experience Glasgow, Scotland and The United Kingdom optimally. Excursions are planned on Friday 9th July.

Preceding the GIREP conference a GIREP Summer School will be held in Glasgow as well. More info will be available soon via the link on the left.
